Brewdog: Trashy Blond (Scotland: Golden Ale: 4.1% ABV)
Visual: A pale clear beer yet dusty gold coloured with a reasonable white head.
Nose: Passion fruit, hops and maturing bananas.
Body: Dry bitter hops, passion fruit. A slight fruit sweetness. Kiwi fruit. An aubergine texture on the tongue.
Finish: Bitter and grain. Even more passion fruit. Long lasting bitterness. Flour?
Conclusion: A very simple straightforward beer. A pleasurable punch of flavour which remains consistent throughout.
Not award winning nor terrible, but a simple and effective beer. Not brewdogs best, however for some the simplicity will be its appeal.
